 Ferencváros Budapest was founded on the 3rd of May in 1899, its first Chairman was Ferenc Springer. FTC's official logo, five green and four white stripes symbolize the 9th district (Budapest), and the three 'E's refers to the motto of the club: Moral, Force, Understanding. Ferencváros, by the fans called Fradi, is the only club in Hungary, who has played all the matches in the first division. FTC is the most successfull team in Hungary, has won 28 Championships and 20 times the Hungarian Cup. In the season 1931/32 Ferencvaros won all of its games, which is a fantastic record in Hungary. Ferencvaros also has celebrated big European successes: 1965 the team has won the VVK (the series before UEFA Cup) and reahced 1975 the final of the Cup Winners Cup.
